Update!

Okay....here goes
1. Got $1000.00 scholarship to pay back what my parents loaned me. I won the scholarship because of an essay about my mom's meatloaf...lame

2. I leave in a little over a month....no...im not counting the days, but i feel like i should figure it out now.

3. Went to the orientation meeting for the trip and learned a lot of cool things. We are staying in student apartments right in downtown Galway.

4. Note to self- never ask for a "ride" from anyone in Ireland...apparently it means "i want to get in your pants". Annnnd....dont bring an umbrella. I'll look like a tourist.

5. Apparently the Irish say "fook" between every word....ill leave it to you to figure out what it is they are saying :)

6. I have NO idea how to pack for a month....suggestions are greatly appreciated!

7. We have a TON of freedom while we are there. Maybe i'll take a road trip to Dublin for a weekend and do something exciting there.
